Well here I am back from my Alicante adventure!! Hurting like mad and totally washed out after 4 days - but that's the usual price I have to pay.
Firstly a big, big thank you to Tumble without whose kindness my trip would not have been possible!!!
Also a big thank you to Cliath for organising the trip and an equally big thank you to Jose for his help and wonderful hospitality. He provided us all with the most enjoyable entertainment for the evenings.I just wish I could have joined in more with the daytime activities but knew I had to pace myself.
I must also give a mention to Martin and Bernard for their help and kindness and the warm welcome we received from them.
I should also like to say thank you to JewelintheCrown and John for putting up with me as a housemate!!!
Looking forward to the next adventure - I have now got the bug!! ( must get some powder for it,lol)
That's all folks :D

Hi Dizzy.
A trip would wear anyone out who has a disabilty, but I bet you had a grand time in a sunny spot. It is good that you had someone there to cater/care for you while you were there.
There are lots of wonderful people here in this site, not only that, some are experience in helping those who are in need.
Now you can relax, sit back and think of the wonderful time you had with others. Getting to know them and see who they are, putting a face to the name as well.

You are so right Star, it was so good to actually meet people and be able to put faces to names and so nice to talk in person rather than typing a conversation!!!!
I did enjoy it so much and met some lovely people and yes they were so helpful especially my house mates!!! I do try and be as independent as I possibly can  so I hope I didn't spoil it for anyone else!
I would  join in again if there was to be another meet and hope things went as well.
I would have loved to have been able to do the pole dancing........oooops nearly let out too much info,

Naaa I don't think you spoil it for anyone, they all knew you have a disability. You would be a good example of how disable people live and how they get on with their daily living. It is no picnic and you belong there just as anyone else as you are a wonderful member to this site.

We all need time to get away as well, disable or not!! We all are human with different needs.

I bet that pole dancing went well
