Greetings to All and welcome to the London forum. This forum is now officially opened. This is the place to get in touch with interesting local people, to share hot topics and to take part in fun events at cool places in the London and surrounding area. How to start? Post a short introduction of yourself and then you are free to post any interesting topic of your choice. Organize a Meetup at your favourite location or pick an interesting event to get to know each other better.

Hello all in London. I work around and about from the city to the east so use the tube quite a bit. Keeps me young! Look forward to chatting to others here. :D

Although my family are from London (Bethnal Green and Bow), I live in North Cambridgeshire. Lots and lots of Londoners are up here for various reasons.

I come to London, Kent and Essex quite often, as I run a mobile disco with a friend (another ex-London lad). We tend to do a lot of 50th, 60th, 70th birthday parties, anniversary and retirement parties, probably because of our age.
We prefer them to be honest. The people are nicer and the music doesn't give us a headache :D

I also do 'an occasional' trip to corporate clients in my capacity as a hypnotherapist (stress management normally). I find some peoples views on 'London' quite interesting, especially from those who have never actually been there!

Hi to all. Originally born in Gloucestershire. I have lived in and around London for most of my life. Although, I did a six year stint at boarding school in Dorset.
My wife & I divorced ten years ago, so I have lived on my own for most of this century ( so far) She passed away with cancer, two years ago. Now retired, I am happy to be a loner. Revelling in the solitude of my passion, which is bird watching. My son is a driver on the London Underground and currently lives with me, and is helping renovate my flat, in Ilford, so that I can move out of London.
My daughter lives in Scotland, so I frequently undertake the eight hour drive to visit her. Usually about six times a year.

Hi all members,
I'm a new member living in Kent so I guess London is my nearest local group. I'm into travel, birdwatching, amongst lots of other interests. Do any members want to set up a meeting place in a pub somewhere on the edge of the M25 perhaps?
Looking forward to meeting new friends online or in person.
regards

Yeah why not? I have just moved back after 5 years in Plymouth, Devon. Live in Kent and a good idea to sort a meeting place out. Keep me informed and see what can be done.
