I HATE single room supplements! Previously i have been to Egypt twice, Tunisia twice, Turkey 6 times, Spain twice on my own and have encountered no problems whatsoever. This year, however, single room supplements have doubled the cost of all the holidays i'm interested in. Anyone else had the same problem this year? Anyone interested in getting a small party of perhaps 4 to 6 together to have a holiday together in the sun during this winter?

Hi Tumble,

Irene58 has recently left the site but she was a friend and I have her email address so I will send a copy of your note to her about the possibilities of holiday sharing. I will let you know,

Hello - I just joined and am finding my way around. As someone who regularly travels alone, I noticed your query and thought I could offer some advice. You dont have to pay the single supplement if you shop on line and look for hotels that have certain dates offering "no single supplement" The two sites I have used a lot are SELLOFFVACTIONS.COM and ITRAVEL2000
Cuba seems to be the best option for this feature. I also wait until the very last minute to book. This way, they are filling up the empty rooms and will give great deals. I go regularly to 5 star hotels and only pay a few hundred dollars for the week. You should check this out, it might offer you an answer to your problem. Thanks for listening - JOAN (MOONRAKER1000)
