The place for 'daily hellos' and everything else you want to talk about...

Hi all. We are in the process of planning a Meet for Oxford in May 2012. Katie123 has offered to accomodate up to 7 people, and I will need some help re finding hotels in that area - any volunteers? We are thinking of it happening over a weekend - with a meal out somewhere nice on the Saturday. A date has not yet been decided - but as soon as it is I will post details of flights from Ireland. For now - can we have an idea of those who would be interested in attending?

Hi Cliath, I'm very interested from the Friday to Sunday :)

Will do some research for you re: Guest Houses etc...

Think this will be a good pointer to something both cost effective and decent..

Any of these would suit me fine...The Acorn Guest House

Hi Cliath, suppose it depends a lot on where we will all meet up and the proximity of where Katie lives..Sure she will have some idea's about a meeting place..I'm happy to use a Guest House, after camping breaks that's luxury to me :D Hope we get some more input..Most of the Guest Houses I've listed have free wifi so that's useful.. :)

These events usually take a bit of time to take off, keith, so don't hold your breath waiting for an instant amount of interest. I will have the notification put in the weekly newsletter - when we have agreed dates :)

I think - it may be the Botley Rd area of Oxford......

Hi Cliath, Understand. Have organised Events and it does take a while to get things off the ground. Good luck with it though.. :)

Buckingham is a very old town so it wouldn't surprise me! :)

:D Ahh lads! What are ye like? :)

Scrummy - are ye going to try to make this one? I will be organising an "Ireland" one for later in the year - so you can have lots of time to think about it :) Again - will look to those interested re where it will be this time. Somewhere central on the island I think is the fairest way to do it.

As soon as Katie123 is home from Wales I will post dates for "The Oxford" meet :)

The lovely pub for the meal on the Saturday is The Perch, Binsley, Oxford.
