Hi Guys and Gals, know I'm new here, however, I see that there are Groups far and wide but the closest to Stoke is Wolverhampton. I believe there are over 40 Members local to Stoke-on-Trent. Would it be favourable to create a Group for Stoke I wonder? Perhaps an organised Meeting in a Restaurant for a Meal for the Members to meet and socialise, become real friends as well as Internet friends..

What do you all think? :)

Hi Cliath, with the surrounding Area we could take in Crewe, Stafford, Stone, Northwich etc so It's a possibility we could get something together and choose something within striking difference of everyone.. I guess it depends on who's up for it. I certainly am. :)

A Group could even be called 'Stoke and Crewe' Districts :)

I'm on the other side of the ocean to you Keith - but I'm sure if you have a wee chat with Graham1 - he may be able to advise re the area's - my English geography sucks!!

But by posting here - you have made a start. It may be an idea to start a different thread with your area as the title... to attract those that live there to read it. You could put out a "feeler" to see if anyone is interested in meeting up - and if so what they would like to do....

I really hope this helps :) Keep active!
