I chose my name because of my mom. Years ago, before she passed away, my mom was dealing with senile dementia, during that time she continued sendeng me letters from England. In her confusion she would forget my name and address, and would send mail to me with the heading of Canada Alice, and only the postal code! Believe it or not, those letters got to me (I still have them)! Ever since then, my siblings dubbed me Canada Alice, and so it seemed like an obvious choice for me when choosing my user name!

All my neices and nephews just started calling me Aunt DeeDee when they were young because it was probably easy and it has stuck with me even though they all are grown up now, so I thought it was quite suitable and I like it.

I choose my name with a friend one night we were having a drink & as I don’t have a photo on the site I decided it was best to be a bit anonymous ... I am actually the complete opposite to what my User name suggests...Jane... Plain!!! No... Never been described as that...& Brennan is my friends Surname...

I have used my user name on other sites, 'cause if I only use one user name there is less likelihood of forgetting what name I am using, forgetting things can be a bit of a problem.

well I combined my name with the Ojibwe word for woman, which is Kwe. It has meaning to me but probably not anyone else. I do smile, laugh at some user names and I even disregard some profiles because of the name. It can say something about your personality....and subconsciously I will reject any reference to dogs, drinking, your ego!!! yes, if it comes across in your user name, then I'm prone to think that you have a big ego...in a small pkg! Some user names are cute tho and make me smile.

I was a complete computer-ill-idiot(Computer illiterate) in 06.My son was a computer hack in school and he set up my first email account as hawkeye.xxx@ which was a nickname I once had as a teen.I couldn't have mentioned that anymore than once to him but when he set up the account that was the name he used.I have used it ,in one form or another depending on availability, for all my email accounts and some forums.

I've ridden motorcycles for 49 years now and all my biker friends just call me D (sounds like a character from Men in Black!) instead of Dennis. So BikerD was a natural choice
